Who we are and what we stand for...
We are a group of young women from Mpigi, Uganda. Since 2017, we have been fighting for women’s rights in our country, advocating for equality, education, and awareness. Through various initiatives, we persistently pursue our goals and work to address societal challenges such as early and unintended pregnancies, forced marriages, and sexual abuse of young girls (and boys).
Our mission is to empower women by equipping them with skills that enable them to stand on their own and lead self-determined lives. Our "Women's Empowerment Center" serves as our home base - a hub for coordination, planning, learning, and brainstorming, where ideas are born and brought to life.
